We redesigned the label for one of Greece’s most emblematic products: Kitron from Naxos. The Vallindras Distillery was founded in 1896 and has been exporting its spirits since 1928. Kitron from Naxos is one of only three Greek spirits protected by Designation of Origin, carrying a legacy deeply rooted in place and tradition.
Respecting this heritage, the new label design draws from historic visual elements to communicate the product’s authenticity and the values passed down through five generations of kitron makers. Custom typography and meticulous attention to detail, enhanced through refined printing techniques, create a tactile and visual experience that reflects continuity and craftsmanship. The result is a contemporary interpretation of tradition—a design journey through time, honoring the past while shaping an identity designed for today and for the future.
