The hospitality market of the Greek islands is saturated. We were commissioned to craft the name, the logo and build a brand that would break through the clutter. To push even further the beauty of Santorini and offer to an international audience a unique experience – not just a stay – that signifies the insider knowledge of one of the most mythical and magical destinations in the world.
Starting from the logo, it is inspired by the traditional arch of the Cycladic architecture, the unique style of the traditional cave houses of Santorini and the symbolism of the sunset & sunrise. The goal of our typographic approach was to create a visual language that is based on type treatments which reflect a deep respect to the architecture and the culture of the island.
The brand Cycladica is an ode to the Greek archipelago. It embodies the way of a simple yet beautiful life that needs no additional elements to become eternal. The brand is caring to the landscape, without creating any visual disruption. Our focus was to create a 360 experience based on slow living. From the door key and the beach towel to a series of mini-guides and sound design.
